Just walking the streets of the various arrondissments was an education in itself. Each district has its own character and vibe, from the gritty Montmartre streets to the grand old "hôtels" (mansions or townhouses) of Marais. Most of our wanderings on this trip were restricted to the Right Bank: we will have to return for the Left Bank and the remaining 95% we missed!
