Last year we visited the west side of Detifoss in weather that was no better than this year. The disadvantage of the west side is that it is usually enveloped in the spray cloud, as it was. Hence, on our return visit we had to go to the east side. The "con" was that we missed Selfoss, upstream of Detifoss, the "pro" was that we saw Hafragilsfoss, downstream of Detifoss, missed last year.
