Gullfoss (Gold Falls) is one of Iceland's most famous and most visited waterfalls, situated as it is on the Golden Circle, 2 hours from downtown Reykjavik. Get there early before the tourbuses arrive from Reykjavik! It is fed by outflow from the Langjokull (Long Glacier). Gullfoss is made of of 3 cascades, the last of which drops into a narrow canyon.
