Because I locked our key inside our room, I had to make a trip to reception along a walkway I would normally not have taken. On my way, I noticed 3 or 4 of these frogs paying no attention to anything, unlike the ones close to the main buildings who were decidedly camera-shy. Once I got the room open I came back with my camera and got several photos at close range without any trouble. This is about as close as you need to get to these toxic little "chocolate mint" frogs
