These are Julia's photos of our visit to Yosemite in late July 2008. Our visit coincided with the Midpines wildfire, just west of the Park. This filled the valley with smoke and the normally clear views were hazy. Sometimes this resulted in unusual effects, especially at sunset. We also visited Mono Lake and Bodie Ghost Town State Park on this trip.
