Kerlingarfjoll mountains and Hvita river tributary
The river Hvita (White) is one of the major glacial river systems of SW Iceland, fed from both the Hofsjokull (this tributary) and the Langjokull glaciers as well as rain and snow on the valleys through which it flows. Many large waterfalls, including the famous Gullfoss, are on this river.
