After weeks of mostly freezing to below freezing temperatures in February 2015, the C & O Canal NHP was mostly frozen. Snow and ice also coated the towpath making tricky going for a hike. We hiked from Old Angler's Inn to Great Falls Inn, and back, with a side-trip to Olmsted Island.
